So our hopes at winning the $5 lottery were dashed today when the Lord announced that it had gone off to some other lucky bugger. Oh well..there will be other opportunities. How AM I supposed to get to Glencoe next year eh????
In the mean time the Manor hounds seem to be stealthfully amusing themselves with the newly installed Christmas tree with our little pug LOKI thinking that the baubles hanging from the lowest branches are there just for his fun.
He has chewed a branch, broken a few baubles and managed to move the whole tree around by running aorund it being followed by our other silly old hound, Fred - we have put off finishing the trimmings and adding the lights just to see if it remains standing or whether we will come home one day to see the whole thing strewn from arsehole to breakfast.
